How To Approach Mount Everest Expedition

Each and every year thousands of tourists across the world visit of the highest place on earth that is 8844 meters above the sea level. In this article, we want to see how well a person can prepare for Mount Everest Expedition and keep the memories alive many years to come. Mount Everest region has snow throughout the year as from 6000 meters up. The area is a sacred place for the Nepalese and Tibetan people.

Mount Everest is a holy grail for different mountaineers in the world. However, you can also take a journey to the top after you do some adequate training. But if you are the type who wants to view its splendor and magnificence there is plenty to watch from the base of the highest point on earth. The place offers a variety of opportunities for visitors who have come to see what Everest has to offer.

There are towns near the area where you can get some of the basic needs. However, you should have the following things when you embark on the journey. They include a camera, hiking shoes, warm clothes, a rainproof coat among others. On the same note, you should not forget a camping gear if you will camp at the site and a backpack that contains some food. There are places such as the monastery or base camp where you can camp for a while as you take videos and pictures to keep your memories of the place alive.

You first need to book a flight to the Everest. The flight will take you over the mountains and Himalayas giving you a preview of its majesty from the comfort of the airplane seat. You should also visit the Shigatse valley here there is a cluster of towns that are at the base of the mountain. At this point, you will experience ancient ruins, colorful markets, and natural hot springs.

Take a hike to Rongbuk Monastery though it s a distance of forty-eight miles it is less strenuous compared to climbing the mountain and many people touring the area can handle it. At Shigatse Valley, you will also find a guide for a small fee who will take you to Rongbuk Monastery. At the monastery, you will get magnificent views of the whole mountain, and you will also find a hostel when you can rest for a night before heading back.

You can also decide to continue the journey to the base camp. The base camp is six miles from Rongbuk Monastery. It is the last stopping point for tourists that are not serious about climbing the mountain. The base camp is a high altitude of about 17000 feet and hence not suitable for people with altitude sickness. Mountain climbers consider this point the beginning for climbing Mount Everest.

Mount Everest is a place that receives many people from different parts of the world every year. The place has the beauty and magnificence and is located at the borders of Nepal, Tibet, and China. Some people come to see the beauty others come to conquer the epic journey to the top. It is important to be fit and acclimatize before you visit this place.

If you go to the place some of the activities, include photography, mountaineering, camping, and hiking. The mountains northern slopes are in China and south into Nepal. It is an area that experiences strong winds and temperatures below zero at all times.
