A Study On The Pikeur Trailers

By Katrina Wheeler

Preview is an advertisement for a feature film or a movie. It contains hints on what will be in the film that is expected to be shown in the future. A study on the pikeur trailers reveals that initially it was shown in the theaters after a one film had been presented t the individuals. It served to show that on what will be in the next film for another day.

The preview should not take a lot of time like the movie itself. It should be as short as possible. If it is too long it might dilute the test of the urge of the person to watch the movie.

The maximum time that the preview should take is two minutes and thirty seconds. A producer is not allowed to exceed this time limit. But once a year a studio can be allowed to present one of the previews to exceed this time span. This should be on those movies that a producers see necessary.

These previews are not necessary presented in the order that they appear in the movie. They can be removed in whatever order from the beginning or the middle and end o the movie. Through these the producer can bring a sense of humor or suspense that is bound to attract audience. This purely depends on the creativity of the producer that is acting on the advertisement.

However there are rules that are used in the creation of these previews to make them of standard. For instance they need to be produced to run for duration that is less than two minutes thirty seconds. Any studio that sees it is necessary to exceed this time limit for a particular film can exceed it only once a year. All the other previews need to within the specified time limit.

It is not a must that the slots should follow the same order in which they appear in the movies. They can be presented I the order in which the presenter sees best fit. This order usually presents the order that is able to bring out the best impression to the audience. It can be organized in a way to bring out the suspense or some irony that will attract the attention of the audience.

The preview is made up of three main parts. This is the act one that presents the premise of story. It sets the environment in which the movie will be situated. There is also the middle part that act as a driver over the story. It can end with a dramatic experience. Then the last is the signature music.

A research on the pikeur trailers further reveal that most of the slots that are used do not necessary flow in the order that they appear in the movie. The order can be in the way that they bring out the best form of attraction possible. This therefore depends on the producer that is working on it.
